Hello Short Fiction Break Readers,
Jeff here. I’ve got some exciting news!
In a few weeks Short Fiction Break is going to publish our first ever quarterly collection. After rereading the 113 short stories published on Short Fiction Break over the past three months, our authors have picked their top 7 favorite. We are going to put these together into a short collection. They will be available as an e-book and a paperback for you to grab and enjoy.
We are really excited about this. But we need your help.
Our quarterly needs a name. We want to call it something besides “The Short Fiction Break Quarterly.” Naming it “Short Fiction Break Quarterly” would be like naming my soon to be born fifth child, “Number Five.” It just won’t do.
Will you help us pick a name?
Leave your suggestions in the comments below or on our Facebook page. We will be accepting nominations for names starting right now and going until Monday (September 1st).
Once all the nominations are in, the SFB authors will vote on their favorite. The winning name will get a free paperback copy of the quarterly. Second and Third place will get a free e-book copy.
Make as many name nominations as you want. The more the merrier.
Thank you for helping us with this project. The contest starts now!
On your mark.
Get set.
GO!

“Scintillas” – means ‘sparks’ or small particles…as in ‘scintillating’ (sparklingly witty) bits of writing.
Musings From A Creative Mind or Musings From Creative Minds
How about something really simple and contemporary like SFB1 (and then 2 …) or what about Short Story Breakout, or Short Fiction Breakout.
