Glynn woke with a start. Another nightmare. She had been plagued by these nightmares for as long as she could remember, which was around age nine. She was now almost 30. She had started going to therapy in her teens, trying to figure out where the nightmares came from. The therapy seemed to bring no answers and the meds she had been prescribed were no longer keeping the nightmares at bay. She swallowed a lump in her throat and fell back asleep. What seemed like only a moment later, she awoke again. This time to a voice calling her name, beckoning her toward them. She then realized she felt a sense of peace she never had before, so she listened to the voice. She never had another nightmare.
