Born and raised in Texas, Emily Summers prides herself on being a southern girl. She is an avid reader and hopes to very soon publish a novel of her own. Currently, she is a student at Texas A&M University. She’s new to Short Fiction Break and is excited to expand her writing through the site. In her free time, Emily enjoys dancing, playing with her turtle, kicking around the soccer ball with her two little sisters, and eating more than the serving suggested amount of cookies with her best friend Alex.
